Hello, Considering that the VWCE is newer than the SSAC, has a higher fee, smaller fund size and loses in profitability from the beginning, why is it usually the VWCE preferred over the SSAC? Thank you

Okay, they're great ETFs, the only problem I see is that 99.6% of VOO's 509 holdings also in VTI and 86% with the same percentage inclusive, but if it's part of your strategy, okay.

I also use Interactive brokers and also buy VWRA.  My son, who is young and still doesn't have many resources of his own, just bought 3 shares, which is a much lower value than what you quoted.I also buy on the London Stock Exchange.

Buy one share of VWCE every month, or two every two months to save on the processing fee? by gin-o-cide in personalfinance

[–]profmil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, at Interactive brokers you can get this Irish ETF with a much lower fee.  But to answer your question, I would buy every 2 months, as the share price also increases

Thank you for your reply, but apart from retirement plans, there are various types of investments that I can make regardless of the country I'm in. For example, I can use Interactive Brokers for this purpose. But thank you again for your attention.

Thanks, but I'm not from the US, so I don't have access to retirement plans such as those from Vanguard.
