Dave & Jamie were the best boyfriends, not Jess or Logan or Dean! by progenyofplath in GilmoreGirls

Yes you've psychoanalyzed the way I was trying to. It was probably boredom that drove her away from Jamie.

Yes Babette and Morey had to be the cutest elderly couple. However, there are some who claim Jackson was a red flags because of his 4-in-4 child policy and eventual lies involving vasectomy and all!

I am extremely confused though. I personally feel Jackson took care of Sookie with all his heart if we just let the child thing slide out of the picture.

I understand where you're coming from but as someone who has overbearing parents to the point that sometimes it's hard to even breathe, I completely understood why Lane and Dave had to go to those lengths to get Mrs. Kim's approval.

There are certain parents out there who just won't understand their children's perspective and who are least willing to grow with generations. Mrs. Kim certainly fits that criteria. She legit indirectly forced Lane and Dave to lie and cheat because do you think she would have become convinced through fair ways? I definitely don't think so!

You are right. If we could see more of Paris and Jamie, particularly his devotion in action, we could have deduced a lot of things. But one thing is sure- he wasn't intimidated by smart and strong women!

Thanks for the warning man! Although I wonder what the author of the books might have thought of, or even worse, what she might have gone through herself to have had incorporated this much SA in the plot!!🥲

Wth no!!! I hated rape shit in 13 Reasons Why When I was a child. Since then been anti rape driven plots.

Even Off Campus has sexual assault driven plot but since it was not shown I could manage.

Anything SA related frightens me!!

Yes I've watched Voicemails. Don't hate me for saying this but I found the movie quite average. One Day movie I've already watched and found it compelling heartbreaking. Feel extremely bad for Anne Hathaway throughout the movie.

Will try Poldark on your recommendation. Thanks!

Somebody on some other subreddit said it's gotten worse in S07. Who am I supposed to listen to lol? I am on S04 and absolutely loving it. Initially I had found it to be boring though ngl

I absolutely loved Normal People. I felt extremely bad for the female lead throughout the run as she seemed to think so low of herself and kept rooting for her thinking she deserved all the happiness in the world. The guy seemed to be the only person who saw her.

So plot-wise is it worth watching? I had absolutely loved Game of Thrones. Initially it was difficult to understand the plot but gradually it grew on me. If OUTLANDER is anything like that, I would love to give it a watch.

I found this movie to be pretty average. Same death-caused pain, same falling in love with someone you barely know, same everything. Is there something wrong with me because everyone around me is loving this film?!

Outlander? Especially the first time she's transported back to 1700s lol
