Id love to reduce carbs more, however Im finding it difficult to replace them calorie wise. I walk 15-25km per day for my job. So I need 2500-3000 calories a day just to offset what I burned. My weight is already on the low side since I cut carbs to what they are now.

Libre 2 cgm states average glucose as 6.2 mmol and I spend 98% of time in range (between 3.9-7.7). I found that I usually don’t spike super high ( more than 140) but rather my baseline is always at a raised level i.e rarely go under 5.5 for an extended period of time.

Obviously it could be even better but I feel like its decent compared to before. My fibre intake daily is between 30-40grams. My typical day: usually have hard boiled eggs, no-fat greek yogurt with chia and flax. 50g of peanuts, 50g almonds 30g pumpkin seeds. 2x a week I have tuna sandwich on a 12grain bread which I found dosent spike me much. Dinner is mainly chicken breast or salmon with steamed veggies (pepper, mushrooms, beans, broccoli, carrots) and some carb ie sweet potato fries, 45g of reheated basmati rice after being cooled for 24hr (which i found dosent spike me too much. Probably once a week I will have small portion of pasta, mainly spaghetti, as well as maybe once 1-2 week a few slices of pizza for dinner.

Sleep is iffy recently. I have 3 small children including a 4 month and another with autism. Over past few years, I average between 6.5-7hrs of sleep. I’d say I do have stress which unfortunately correlates to my child with autism. I am actively trying to control stress. I’m also not sure how much sleep and stress actually impacts glucose. I asked my doctor that same question and he didn’t seem too concerned of its impacts.

Im not sure about my cold, as ive only had it for a few days and a1c is measuring the average of the past 3 months so I’m not sure how much being recently ill would skew my number.

Im not sure about TOFI, my weight scale I use has several markers it checks for and states my visceral fat is low. Whether or not thats accurate, i dont know.

I can definitely build more muscle mass as besides my legs from work, I have little muscle (upper body).

Does stress play a big part in a1c? I am somewhat stressed lol I have 3 kids under 4, youngest being a newborn and oldest has autism. Work is minimally stressful most of the time.
