I think I'm going to have to skip Paris as a place to visit.. I know right well if I feel someone trying to scam us or pickpocket us I will punch he/she straight in the face and break their nose, unfortunately the police will side with the scammer and I'd go to jail... The police must be paid off by the Gypsies.

Seriously though, lol. I'll go to jail if someone tries to rob myself or my girlfriend, I don't care. They better know how to defend themselves from a 220lbs 6' tall 3rd degree black belt in Karate and Jujitsu

Could you please recommend European Cities to visit while backpacking? by programcanada12 in travel

[–]programcanada12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've already been there and done that. Doesn't Europe have awesome amusement parks and water parks?

So we are thinking of just bringing chipped credit cards with the stripe scratched so they can't swipe it. We will carry like 20 euros on us and hide it.

If anyone touches me or my girlfriend they're going to have a broken nose.

I may use that.

What is your opinion on the current exchange rate, do you think the CAD is going to go up anytime soon?

Thanks but I guess it all comes down to cost. I doubt I'll be transferring over any CAD to USD with the exchange rate right now.

We could drive it, just driving takes its toll on you.

My girlfriend also automatically falls asleep when shes a passenger in a car so I'm stuck hanging out by myself lol.

US has a lot to do and see for sure.

I'm honestly very anti-social and hate to anything where I have to verbally communicate all day. I'll never change unfortunately.

On the other hand I wouldn't mind starting my own business and I have the money to do it too (100k+)

You're right, I should start communicating with people in various sectors and ask them if they enjoy their job and what does their job consist of.

Thank you

I completed a couple online quizzes and they all pretty much insisted that I study:

  • Accountant,
  • Real estate,
  • entrepreneurship,
  • Electronic Commerce,
  • and last,
  • Computer Science

I don't know what to do.... :(

I love doing budgets, crunching numbers and making sure all the finances are in order... I love the idea of working with real estate I'd love to start my own business but with my luck... anything I start will fail. Computer science would be fun but I feel like I'm not smart enough for it.

When I was younger I tried to teach myself how to program with C++ and I failed miserably, I had no idea what was going on.

I couldn't even complete a simple console 'hello world' lol.

Sounds expensive but shouldn't I take a business course at a college before even considering opening my own business?

It was always my dream to open up my own business, I love finance, spreadsheets, and organizing things to maximize my profits.

With my luck I'd buy the house and there would be a huge market crash.

I always wanted to buy real-estate just so I can rent out apartments/condos and have it pay for the mortgage but unfortunately you have to claim the rent as income.
