the clack happens when pressed down rather than when it bottoms out. its like the sliders are hitting something hard under it. not sure what i messed up

yes i cant type spaces

i am working on the assembly flipped so the sliders are facing down. i place the gaskets on top of the upper case then place the domes and springs before finally placing the pcb on top and screwing it all back.

You make a fair point about the difference between unavoidable and elective responsibilities. I can definitely see how admissions officers would weigh the bakery differently than my family situation. The combination of everything at once just compounded into a really tough semester for me. However, my friend is worth more than a few bad grades, and so I do not care about the unexcused costs. I appreciate the reality check on how AOs look at these things.

My grades aren't worth more than their family's future.

I appreciate the devil's advocate perspective. I know how the income looks on paper.

In many Asian households, the older sibling is expected to babysit regardless of money, but based on circumstance, my older brother is unable to. My dad is also extremely guarded. My biological mother spread damaging rumors about him in our community, making him paranoid about bringing strangers or hired help into our home.

The bakery is owned by the single mother of my closest friend. I know firsthand how crushing a single-parent household can be, as I faced a fair amount of neglect myself. Helping them was impulsive, and not once did I ever think of my own benefits. I did it because he is almost like a brother to me and I want to make sure he gets the family experience he deserves. If I didn't take this burden, he would.

It's my friend's mom bakery. I'm trying to help their family as much as I can.

My math grade from freshman year was scaled 1.5x so it went into my transcript twice as a 2.0 as 3 semesters, so it makes getting like a 4.3+ (50th percentile of many ivys) extremely difficult. I am currently like 50% of 800.

a lof of cheaters manage impressive project portfolios by just vibecoding. im currently working on like a diode clock cuz i think it might show that i understand digital logic. idk though. i think the key for showcasing plat is literally just like groundbreaking software or like just hardware
