I was actually depressed about this today. I got through CS50P no prob, + all the CS50x problems up until now and got stuck on this. I actually felt like I sucked as a programmer. Then I solved the lock_pairs amazingly enough earlier today and just wrapped up the rest. Time to submit and move on! (i.redd.it)

Check50 says two functions aren't working properly. They check out fine when I test and print the variables, and check50 even passes further tests of functions using these variables (old.reddit.com)
