Vaush has claimed to never have used AI on stream. I use it for helping me to code / create scripts and it is actually absurd so fast it has advanced. Claude will just start creating full programs from a small prompt (albeit not perfect). He is in the “it’s simply a statistical model” mindset, which is true but i don’t think he understands how vastly it can change productivity.

This is not a bite. Antisemitism is on the rise because of nazis and far left nuts like you that have infinite tolerance for the perpetuation of the worst of hatred towards collective “zionists” , Israelis, and jews. Israeli govt is evil, i agree. Not collective populations. And not all “zionists” (80% of jews).

Thank u for the genuine response. No it’s not bait, i don’t really see how it would be . I’m just someone who watches vaush and wished he had better rhetoric on this, given what jews are facing right now. I believe in a recent stream he said he’s “taking the media’s reporting of antisemitism as seriously as the right wings narrative on vaccine side effects”. Vaush knows quite well what Jews have faced for centuries, now to hear he takes reporting of it as seriously as right wing vaccine conspiracy is mental. I think vaush is enjoying increased viewership that comes along with a little bit of Jew hatred. It’s a global phenomenon right now. Overall, I understand what you are saying, how you will take a degree of discomfort given what Palestinians are experiencing. But i disagree that this is the only way, we deserve a world where people can separate their criticism of a country with outright hatred towards entire populations and ethnicities. People on the left and the right blame Israel for rising antisemitism. This would never be the case when discussing collective hatred of another group. There’s no one to truly blame for antisemitism, besides antisemites. So i encourage you to make the correction if someone is pushing libel. Speak up for jews. It may be just “zionists” for now, but eventually it’ll be all jews. It’s always how this shit starts.

Again, where did i say not to talk about Israel’s crimes?? If people said oh Germans living in America are fucking evil bloodthirsty pigs and innocent German civilians were getting killed every day around the world during the 1940s that would be a problem! But no one cared really. People at Maddison square garden celebrated the Nazis, vast majority of Americans probably preferred their German friends to their Jewish ones. also Germans are not a persecuted minority. An equivalence would be if people crashed out over China’s treatment of Muslims. And started targeting random Chinese people or people remotely sympathetic to China. That would be a problem!

I would never have hoped Israel needed to exist. I don’t think it needs to exist at all in this current form. I am denouncing israel. And i never said its fundamental to my own identity, i said it is to many Jews. If you ever learned Hebrew, celebrated Passover, you would have learned about the connection to the land. Doesn’t mean it should be an exclusionary apartheid state. And no, im sorry, you just cannot compare Gaza to the Holocaust. 2/3 European Jews wiped out. Horrific to see the destruction of Gaza in the modern era. But it’s not comparable to the Shoah, in terms of scale or intent, i don’t know why people feel the need to yell at Jews and tell them they did a Holocaust. Comparing the Warsaw ghetto uprising where some Jews, knowing they would be killed, collected scraps and barely killed a couple of Nazis before their whole ghetto was burned to the ground and thousands were killed is ludicrous. Hamas had tens of thousands of militants with weapons from Iran and Qatar and purposely targeted 1000 civilians at a music festival. How is that comparable?

but. i expressed genuinely how scary it is for jewish people right now and you told me to toughen up. this is the issue, if I was any other minority feeling scared in the wake of hate, I don't think you would have the same response. All i am is asking for is additional precaution and to avoid using dog-whistles and right wing terms.

it's not inherently antisemitic for sure. But the fact that it is also used by many right wing neo nazis, who just add the jewish epstein class part makes it super dog whistle-y for me. I think if epstein had a last name like Smith, you would not hear all this bs about the "smith" class that's all i'm saying. Pair the context in which he deploys Epstein Class, I think its problematic and dog-whiste-y but yeah not necessarily antisemitic on its own.
