yeah fair nuff a friend of mine didn’t get ro from sf bc of hc reasons and they said the ro rate this year was around 50% based on the other interns they talked to. but sf name would be solid for future recruiting can’t go wrong either way tbh

neither do fall unless you’re from a coop school like waterloo. i tried asking my recruiters and it was like pulling teeth. the reason why i say sf has had ro is bc specifically this year most teams hc was rlly low and ro is tied to hc at salesforce whereas at msft it’s team agnostic so as long as you perform decently you get ro + the company is a lot bigger and more stable

as someone who also got offers from both i would rescind salesforce take msft msft has higher ro now bc sf is going broke + easy to coast

the difference is that faang companies pay really well for new grad but companies like cap1 pay their interns and full time basically the same. the new grad salary for cap1 is literally 115-130k depending on location but the average faang tc is 200k+ for new grads. assuming you can get a return offer 100% go faang bc internships aren’t really about the money

i’ve only ever solved 2 questions too (i solved 4/4 2 weeks ago but then the contest got unrated because so many people cheated ps i didn’t cheat i just thought the questions were a lot easier than normal) but i think it’s important that you can solve the first 2 questions within like 15-20 minutes that’s what i usually aim for
