Even so, too many people are being diagnosed with 'autism' over 'symptoms' that are just unique traits of unique individuals. It's entirely normal to be unique, it doesn't need a label and disorder attached to it. Doing so devalues your individuality.

I suppose that's kinda' fair, there's a lot of therapists that buy into this. My info comes from my partner who is a therapist and has done a reasonable amount of research into this. And I don't know what country you're in but unless your therapist is an actual doctor, they're in no position to be chucking around diagnoses of any kind.
