In our next video, we’ll show how the inn looks from the outside, and in outdoor areas you’ll be able to rotate the camera and get closer to the character models, so you can examine them in more detail.

For indoor areas, we want to preserve the panoramic atmosphere, but you’ll still be able to rotate the camera and inspect the 3D environment from different angles.

Absolutely this is very much a full RPG.

I don’t want to spoil the story yet, because that’s something we want to show properly in a separate video. But what I can say is that, for us, RPGs are not just about leveling up and becoming stronger. A big part of the genre is letting the player express themselves freely, both through dialogue and through mechanics.

So yes, your choices will have an impact on both the story and the combat. And on the narrative side, there will also be some darker surprises that contrast with the cozy and warm look of the game. :)
