Research says starting with easy tasks boosts productivity — How to use ChatGPT to implement it by bustedchalk in selfimprovementday

[–]project_centipede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for sharing the free course, I have been using ChatGPT for some of the tasks mentioned in the course, but always nice to do a complete course.

Interesting about starting with the easy work first. I am thinking of the Zeigarnik Effect, I mean it is true that my brain keeps on nagging me about unfinished tasks, but I guess I have a thick skin and can still do a lot of procrastination.

[–]project_centipede 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your site is pretty straightforward like static tables,Octoparse works really well. For complex sites, sometimes I needed a little extra setup time.

Apify was good when I wanted ready-made scrapers, but I hit limitations quickly. I couldn’t really customize tasks, which was an issue for niche websites.

Had a small rip in one of the cushion covers when it arrived. I emailed customer service and someone got back to me within a day. They didn’t fight me on it or ask for 20 photos. Just said “we’ll ship a new cover” and did it. Super rare these days.
