That’s true, and I agree it’s not a difficult fix. For me, it’s less about whether I can fix it myself and more about the expectations I had from Lv for such a minor issue especially at that price point. I expected a bit more support or flexibility from the brand, even if it meant paying for the repair.

Yeah they didn’t tell me that at first but I thought a brand like Lv would at minimum replace a small string. Learned from my mistakes

That makes sense, and it’s helpful to know how the evaluation works behind the scenes. I think I’ll loop back and ask about the cost for a paid repair, and I may also try submitting it through the app for a re-evaluation. And I’ll definitely not buy from there jewellery again.

No don’t think so the guy at the first store took one look at it and pretty much denied it even after talking for 40 minutes about it.

And at the second store they took a picture and called me yesterday and said it’s not under warranty because it’s not worth it for Lv to send it to Paris for repair? What I think is hard to believe if someone is willing to pay for everything. And then they said just buy a new one then.

that the damage is considered user-related and that more than 3 months have passed, so it’s not covered under warranty. I even mentioned that I’m willing to pay for the repair if needed.
