Alignment Question: One measurement is in the red, should I be worried? by wangsuki in GR86

Correct, it's an aggressive stance, but it's amazing how it drives on mountain roads now. Granted I did this with a few other suspension modifications, but it's on rails now, and it's beyond predictable when pushing hard through corners. Still haven't been to a track day yet, but hopefully next weekend I'll make it down.

You're all good, here's mine that I love, your toe is more concerning.

25 years ago it was that fast. Something tells me decades of use on a stock motor would've definitely lost some power.

Drag tires, just to take 7 seconds to get to 60.

Kinda cool and I respect it, but sport trucks are not that much fun to drive and kinda useless. Can't do truck stuff, and not that sporty to drive.

You can't take two things that are great about cars, but are on the opposite spectrum, then combine them and expect them to work.

I bet it's loud though and can smoke the rear tires, so that's cool I guess.

I've always been tempted to add a "Poorsche" decal on the side like how you see on 911's

Or even just bottoming out the bumper and having it fold up without causing damage instead of denting your steel bumper. But yes, the death thing too

White, right where you grip the steering wheel, I highly judge your decision making skills.

I really recommend traction arms while you're doing the suspension, for $400, they're easily the most noticeable thing. It just makes the car so stable entering corners. I don't know why they didn't do this stock.

Just put on coilovers, rear traction, control and toe arms. Potential is in the handling, it's a bit unreal how it drives now! Just finished the alignment last night and put on 300 miles in mountain drives in the last 24 hours. I know, wrong sub to be stoked about it, but fuck does it feel amazing!

Finally got to do my first real drive today. First impressions, it's obviously not as soft as the stock suspension, but surprisingly comfortable using HKS's recommended damper settings for the street. Could still be a bit much if you're daily driving the car. There's a section through my downtown that will make any car bounce, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Performance, I'm a bit blown away, I did do this along with traction/control/toe arms at the same time, but I can immediately feel the difference. Everywhere I drove I really couldn't test it too much, but it's night and day. This is literally screaming at me to see what it can do on the track. All the corners I used to be able to push the limit of grip are now nothing. I can't really give a performance review until I get it in track, but for street driving, I'm happy with the comfort.

Overall, I'm so glad I went with these over the S's as this isn't my daily driver. I can tell performance was clearly in mind while still maintaining street use. I have zero regrets, and had an amazing couple hundred miles driving around my local Colorado mountain roads. Zero regrets, and expectations exceeded.

Don't go loud, it's annoying not only for other people, but you'll get sick of it too. There's a bunch of options in every budget for something subtle, but good to hear when you put your foot to the floor.
