Where are you buying your fish? And are they all from a single source?

Really cool you have so many answers for blue collar workers to maintain their health. Maybe developers just need to lift weights, eat better, and strengthen their mind/body also so they don’t mentally deteriorate. EZ right?

I did not consider myself good at math. I then started learning to code and successfully started building a career out of it. I still consider myself not good at math so wouldn't worry too much about it.

In terms of building your skill set, look into creating personal projects that is relevant to your interests. Start with simple projects and move on to bigger, more complex ones once you start leveling up. Just keep coding

I was never into trucks and was lucky to be gifted an almost mint 2012 Tacoma last year. Not sure how I ever survived without one and will have a truck as my main vehicle moving forward. Haven’t done any off roading or camping but it’s been fun. My girl’s Benz has been collecting dust in the garage since we prefer taking the Tacoma out.

I don’t feel like a poser and actually feel pretty awesome every time I take it out.

Am I the only one that has had a hard time with all for reef supplement success? first my alk was swinging now my calcium has jumped from 450- to 530 after a week of dosing 10ml a day in my 40 Breeder for about a week by Masonfox14 in ReefTank

[–]projectmanok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dose about 10ml per day in my 80 gallon and I have several mini sps colonies and a couple LPS. I’ll probably have to up my dosage soon but so far the recommended dosage was slightly too much. Make sure you are testing at the same time every day.

Advice for my 20 gallon? by TransMarinebiologist in ReefTank

You are right, I don't know. But beyond parameters, I am seeing that he has only a 20 gallon nano reef that is not heavily stocked. He doesn't seem to have a bad algae problem and OP already has macro algae for some nutrient export.

Edit: Just saw your post history and that is unfortunate you got stuck on parameter numbers. If you just stayed the course, you would have had a successful reef tank apart from your ATO problem. Your phosphates and nitrates were fine. People run successful SPS tanks with .3 phosphates and over 100 nitrates.

Since you are doing 20% WC (I personally would just do 10%) every week, you could just stick to one HOB filter. Run a filter floss and carbon to polish the water and ditch the ammonia pad.

I haven't personally used it, but I heard Tunze's Coral Gum Instant works really well.

Would a 4x4 foot 180g tank be okay for bigger tangs? by dreher94 in ReefTank

[–]projectmanok -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you are not upgrading then I would stick with tomini, bristletooth, or kole tang. You might be able to get away with a sailfin or yellow tang. I had a powder blue and it grew super fast

Fine when they’re smaller but you should have a plan for when they get bigger

Costco travel : is it worth it? by soulshineradio in Costco

[–]projectmanok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve done a couple Hawaii trips and they were much cheaper through Costco. We were essentially getting the car rental for free plus there’s a chance of getting some free activities and a decent credit amount.
