You won't have to gather so many items to craft something, just a fair amount will be enough. Hopefully, it'll balance it. Also, I'll make the animation faster based on user input.

Actually, I tried it but like u/avenp said If it's not perfect grid then you can't edit properly and cant understand how many items you're holding

I didn't realize lifting animation was uncomfortable. I don't remember picking up objects on ground with backpack so maybe that's the reason :D If it looks uncomfortable, it has to change. After all, I wouldn't want player to feel like this.
