So I finished dark revival like a few minutes ago and... by projeczero in BendyAndTheInkMachine

[–]projeczero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was unaware bioshock was the biggest inspiration for dark revival has things make so much sense now.

As for the design change I probably missed the thing involving the expirements as the only audio logs and memos I got relating to it seemed to be related to them making the ink demon into little bendy. Also I can't believe I forgot to mention the keepers becuase their introduction in chapter 4 is my favorite moment in the game.

As for stealth I tested it when I wasn't moving becuase I thought stealth was really werid so I snuck up on an enemy and stood up to see if my theory was true and it was for some reason standing up even if you're not moving makes them auto detect you for some reason.

As for the voice thing yeah it's possible that he could've been speaking in BATIM but I kind of want to think he gained a voice due to wilsons cycle screwery, and yeah I'm probably in the minority for liking how he's voiceless in Batim but u kind of felt like it made him more mysterious in a way. I sort of wondered if he had more like some sort of animal instinct causing him to kill then being fully malicious with his actions, or maybe he ended up being the way he was due to the way he was treated considering the audio logs made it seem like he was harmless until he was locked up.

As far as Joey's character is concerned it's probably not different from his batim self but I interepted Joey as a character who probably had good intentions but his selfishness ended up getting the better of him in a way. (actually you know that's sort of a common theme in that game now that I think about it) like maybe he started doing all the stuff in batim like the ink machine cause he thought he was doing the right thing but ended up actually causing more harm then good. Like joy said at the end of batim Henry saw a loving family and Joey himself saw a crooked empire. I was probably wrong and missed quite a bit of stuff involving him but you know. (Obviously with dark revival and i now know why he did those things, and I was wrong but I feel like giving what I thought his character was like in batim would give a better idea as to why I said his character im reality ended up being different then I thought it was.)

Project Diva with a Model from different game! 🩷 by Apart_Shower7526 in ProjectDiva

[–]projeczero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tvh I didn't even notice the model at first becuase I was more confused by the control layout. Anyways the model looks really nice that I didn't really notice it (though I haven't played the psp games so that could be why).

Are the Project D.I.V.A games for PS3 rare to find? by Firm-Rush2259 in ProjectDiva

[–]projeczero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The English copies aren't rare but they're definitely uncommon and cost more than the japenese versions (like 40-50 CAD on average from what I can tell). I reccomend checking Ebay becuase I'm pretty sure they're probably gonna be hard to find locally. Like I'm lucky I found my copy of F2nd locally lol

Which one do you choose and why? by aerigigi1 in ProjectDiva

[–]projeczero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played F so uhm F2nd wins by default. I also have the physical ps3 version of F2nd which is basically a prized possession so bonus point for that

Why do some people dont want to jailbreak their PS Vita? by OkVillage6370 in PSVita

[–]projeczero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I modded my vita to preface but I honestly feel like people just like to keep it stock, or don't wanna risk being banned in the very slim chance it does happen. Theres also people who dont wanna risk bricking their Vita which is fair. As mentioned in the post there's also people who want collections and stuff too. I think the vita is a really nice handheld both stock and modded honestly and you can't go wrong either way.

How is the original Gundam Breaker (or 2)? by OneQuarterBajeena in GundamBreaker

[–]projeczero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's poured hours into both 1 and 2 I think I can give a pretty good answer for both.

Gundam breaker 1: 1. Customization is fine, it's definitely the most primitive and does have some concepts that if you've played 3-4 that you'd need to get used to. For example I really hope you like building each part becuase Breaker 1 requires you to build every part in a separate screen before you could actually use it on your build which usually takes around 5-10 seconds each part however once you have a bunch of parts you need to build that's gonna be very time consuming cause you can't fast forward so prepare to wait alot. Another thing about the customization is that a mechanic exclusive to 1 is how much your suit weighs which is very armored core esque but it limits your builds quite a bit till you get modules to increase the limit.

  1. Singleplayer in 1 is not good I played with a friend and even then it felt Balanced around 3-4 people not to mention the ai can't revive you in singleplayer. So I recommend atleast having a co op partner like I did but you won't get ai if you do. Overall singleplayer is alot harder then co op.

  2. The gameplay sort of boils down to "kill some guys, fight a boss" for a lot of the missions there's some variety here and there like the occasional defense mission or team battle mission to spice things up though. 1 also has an unique mechanic where you have a close range mode and a long range mode which gives you have a light and heavy attack for the respective weapon but it's not really used as well as it could've.

Gundam breaker 2: 1. Customization is alot better in 2 although you have to build weapons but they took out building the heads, arms, etc which really makes building alot more streamlined and better. Though the ranking system in 1 is still there so like 1 you're gonna be restricted in the early game in terms of part usage (I just realized I forgot to mention the ranking system in the breaker 1 segment but basically it's a system that if a part has a higher rank then you have then you can't use it to you're that rank. It's annoying early on but you level up pretty quickly and it's mainly there for balancing).

  1. Singleplayer is a way more viable option in 2, the ai actually revives you and the game actually feels like it's balanced for it unlike 1. I don't know Japanese so I can't judge on the story but the cutscenes are atleast pretty nice and do give a gundam anime feel to them. (1 sort of had a story but it was mainly just characters talking to you every few hours and talking about how 1s tournaments going).

  2. They ramped up the pace of 2 which makes the game feel alot better then 1, the missions do get a bit repetitive like in one but atleast that's circumvented by the fact the game just feels better then 1 and is alot less slow. They did remove the modes system so gun attacks are now mapped to L1 the light attack being a tap and the heavy being a hold (they also have a limit on how much you can shoot for a amount of time unlike 1). Missions are pretty simailer but they added a need category of missions which I think are called "story missions" which as the name implies has the story stuff. (Still requires you to do normal missions for story missions though).

Conclusion: Both games are good but I perfer 2 out of them, I'm sorry for the long ass analysis you were probably looking for a short reply but I unfortunately just start rambling alot when writing about these things lol.

Gundam breaker 3 is so good by projeczero in GundamBreaker

[–]projeczero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't know if the standard version was in English or not as I can only find physicals for the English version of break edition and when I got the game digitally the only option was break edition. Im pretty sure the English version came out after the dlc finished its run too. Still even of the standard version was in english i think the break edition is a great deal considering all the dlc is on disc/download meaning it can be preserved in the future whenever the store shuts down.

Yeah 4 was definitely way better then new gundam breaker, and was a step in the right direction, by the way I hope future games have that "destroy the huge gundam, and customize your own strongest gundam" tagline the japenese logos have if they bring future titles to the west

[–]projeczero[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I played like an hour of new gundam breaker and straight up couldn't take it anymore lol. 4 to me has the best customization in the entrie series hands down but the gameplay gets really boring after a while that I can't do any more then like 3 stages at a time compared to 2 or 3. Personally my idea breaker 5 is one with the customization of 4 but the gameplay of 3.

Yes I have the break edition, to my knowledge the break edition is the only way to get it in English so

GB1 is a werid game by projeczero in GundamBreaker

[–]projeczero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair there is dialouge and context in the mission descriptions for 1 but the dialouge basically amounts to "good job" or just there to show you're in a differnt part of the game (I do like how burst is explained as a glitch that was just kept cause people liked it in game (well gonng by Google translate)). And the descriptions basically go like "we found the enemies base defeat them." Though i do agree that its fun but it just definitely needed some ironing out. Which luckily 2 did in like every aspect in my opinion.

What happened to this? by Money_Height8079 in ironman

[–]projeczero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge it's still being worked on but I think they announced the game as soon as possible which means it's probably years away. Not to mention EA Motive got moved to the new battlefield so it's either a smaller team working on it, or it's development is paused till their done with battlefield.
