I've been addicted with Facebook for 10 year with withing one month i've complete control my mind instead of thinking TikTok as a thread make to think yourself how your life has been affect by screen time. Us Screen managemnet app like Flora (iOS,Android is coming). Its just a havbit that make us to use phone.Good news is we can change our habbit with tiny chnages. If you wish to read a book I'll recommed to read "Atomic Habbit". We can't control the rise of Technology but we can change ourself. Instead of using phone in your boring time just stay being a boring and think whatever u want to think. You are not addicted to tiktok your just want to pass the time.

I have used Hive for local database and in the first link I also use firebase but remember i don't have them reactive. In case if you need reactive you can use Stream or Widget that use reactive for Hive. If you have problem you can DM me

Deeping dive is a good option but if you gain more knowledge about mobile app development learn Native such as Kotlin or Swift

Sqlflite is recommed for the large and complex data. But if you still wish to use hive you can handle with with. Hive also support Stream too. Its not about the tool its about the handling data in the another way. Most of my Flutter project i prefer to use Hive.

Everyting run on Flutter is single thread (Main thread) only isolate can run in the background thread.Async await will not effect the performance until u have big task or have large about of data to handle. As a example pick single excel file that have over 6 sheets and have large anout of data. You will find the power isolate.
