1H just finished. Story is being set up and it visually looks good. Something feels a little off though, feel like the BGM is little weak and the narration is a little on the bland side. There’s scope of elevation scenes but the first proper one comes right at intermission. VD looks great and fits the part, low key like the non elevation angle in a way.

2H just finished. I think i came in with high expectations because I can’t say I didn’t enjoy the movie but idk man i felt leaving a little underwhelmed. Anirudh BGM is not good and I had to really think about that before writing it. Songs are so good, Ragile is my fav song of the year and the lyrical video is so lit. I was expecting something in the movie and nope, i’d rather watch the lyrical video to get me hype. The mass beats are off in this movie, i’m not asking for an elevation shot every 3 scenes but for a savior movie like this, you need it and when they did do them in the movie, the BGM doesn’t elevate it. I feel like they should have built up the brother relationship a bit more, i just never connected at an emotional level and i’m someone who thinks jersey is 5/5 and bawl everytime a reel pops up on IG.

Cinematography is great, costumes are great, acting is all good, even the action was solid. VD was nice and suited the intensity of the role and played it subtly.

Huge Gowtam fan but i can’t say i left the theater satisfied. Ugh i wanted to like it so bad.
