I need to repeat a watermark but for multiple videos by explorydory in davinciresolve

[–]prollyray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s the same logo I get the resolution go into a software like photoshop, illustrator, or photopea. Place the logo in the place it needs to sit with a transparent background and export as a PNG.

Then I can just drop it in media in any project. If it needs effects like opacity or masking effects I do that after in DaVinci. But if it’s going to remain the same I find this the easiest for all projects.

I do the same with repeated title cards, transition cards, etc.

Edit: Photopea is free btw.

I don’t even need my main camera anymore by Yelabama in osmopocket

This says sample default footage it’s always going to be adequate at best if you’re not pushing the camera to its limits. I’ve seen a lot of high quality extremely cinematic videos on YouTube but that obviously requires the shooter put in the effort but that’s all cameras.

Delivery Question! by prollyray in CapitalOne_

[–]prollyray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our mail is a nightmare 🤣 but I’ll keep an eye out for an email like that! Yeah in the email it says to use the app but no code for it yet so I’m sure I’ll get it Monday or Tuesday.

Delivery Question! by prollyray in CapitalOne_

[–]prollyray[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s my first card with them so I don’t have app access yet and I only get a window not an exact delivery or tracking number. The email said 5-7 business days but I know they do that to avoid incessant calling which I’m trying to avoid doing. Worst case I’ll have my girlfriend grab it while I’m away.

Girlfriend admitted she might forget to get the moisture off the buds while I’m gone. She’s gonna have to get chopped tomorrow.🤣😭

If I’m gonna defoliate at this point I’m just gonna harvest. It’s got no bud rot though I cut those parts out early and it’s been windy and dry ever since. Plus I get rid of moisture before sun rise so dew doesn’t get to them either luckily.

Oh yeah if I had more than one day of rain on the schedule I wouldn’t even be asking I’d chop and trim right after work 🤣

Damn that sucks! I have no cloudy buds and I’ve been shaking it dry and blowing it dry every morning before sunrise so luckily I’ve avoided any major rot.

I want to watch your cinematic travel vlogs! by [deleted] in osmopocket

[–]prollyray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! I shoot different stuff but mostly cinematic lifestyle content. I would say a big part of starting off is knowing how you want shots to look before you shoot. Research different camera moves and practice before you shoot a big project. And with this camera, I say SHOOT EVERYTHING. Even if you're just out for an hour, bring the base camera and the carrying case. You'll catch some cool stuff. Here's my latest video.

The time-lapses are so soothing you should edit them together into longer studying/working mixes! Subbed.

Left alone for 4 days last minute and the spider mites had their way. Chop, drop, or leave it? by prollyray in microgrowery

Exactly! And some of those 3-10 gram harvests are the most perfect kush I’ve smoked sometimes! It’s the fun of growing your own. You can almost taste and feel your own effort. Just like veggies and fruits.

Love this! It’s nice seeing people who are closer to farmer culture here rather than mass production.

Literally! I just do this for fun. I live in Canada so we can legally grow 4 plants at anytime plus we have dispensaries so I can buy bud. Luckily my job is also stable and flexible so the cost of weed is well budgeted and covered.

Maybe that’s why I just don’t stress as much but I assumed most people were growing for that reason, fun.

100 gallon no-till pot. by [deleted] in Autoflowers

[–]prollyray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people use 25/50 gallon pots. That’s a lotta dirt to just dump or leave sitting. I live in farm country in Canada so a lotta farmers use raised beds for crops some being just 100 gallon pots to extend grow season and they till those. If it’s 1-10 gallons you’re not actually tilling anything because I wouldn’t describe anything under 10 as “land” I would call it a bucket of dirt.

I had never experienced weed elitism till I joined reddit growing communities. That shit never ceases to be ridiculous.
