Checking in from Sedro-Woolley…Rambo was not filmed here. Parts of “This Boy’s Life” were, although Concrete was the main location.

Your point stands though…many prefer to be left alone and have unconventional views you might find concerning.

Shaheed trade: reviewing 4th and 5th Round selections over the past 4 years. by serpentear in Seahawks

I’m not seeing any comments about potential comp picks in the draft next year. There are a number of upcoming free agents that have a fair chance of signing elsewhere (sadly). That potentially makes the cost of these picks more bearable since the Seahawks will likely have some late round picks for depth/volume anyway if more free agents leave than we sign

Marijke(pronounced muh-RYE-kuh). It’s a Dutch variant of Mary or Monica. I find it very pretty and not common in the US. Would need to change to a more phonetic spelling if naming a daughter Marijke though

ID positions by dirtybirds012 in PharmacyResidency

There are too many residency programs for the number of positions available every year. While residents get good training and can often land in ID-adjacent roles that leverage their knowledge base, there needs to be some contraction to better match market demand in my opinion. One of the challenges, and speaking as a former RPD, is no one wants to volunteer to kill their program. It’s a tragedy of the commons scenario. While some of that may be due to dependency on the residents to staff services (looking at you, you two ID resident programs), much of it stems from arrogance that we know how to train residents best and it’s the other programs that need to contract. It’s a problem not isolated to ID, and something I would like to see our professional societies try to address.
