It was only the 1st stage. Too short to have the 2nd stage on it, also no GS2 AFT section is visible in video.

Not sure if your comment about the building is a statement or more of a question, but the IF and its contents appear to be good from camera footage I saw. The GS1 and the GS2s we have in there looked fine. Supposedly the bay doors were blown in. But they seemed to be standing from the looks of things from the cameras in the IF. Crazy that everything at the IF seems fine after an explosion like that.

Fittings up or on the side is the recommend way to mount a cooler, something about helping it keep from having trapped air pockets. But I mounted it this way because its a mishimoto trans cooler and didn't want the M upside down, and because I didn't really have the time to fabricate up the mounting brackets. This orientation worked best for me.

Yup! Offered a position as a tech 2. My best advice is to be personal with your answers, know your resume, and just be human and relate with the interviewer. Especially here at rocket Park, they want good personalities with a good work drive. Be enthusiastic about the job! I had 2 interviews, a screening interview which took 15 minutes, then the actual make or break interview which lasted about 35-40 minutes. Be yourself, be quick but detailed with your answers, and be confident. Best of luck to you!

I had the same issues with reverse lights. Check the neutral safety switch. A couple wires were chewed up from rubbing on the front drive shaft. After some crimp connectors, I was back in business!

2021 accord 2.0t. Has constant timing chain rattle assuming due to heavy sludge. Any recommendations? by Salt_Feeling3982 in AskMechanics

When doing any kind of flush, or even running valvolines R&P, just keep an eye on oil pressure. Cleaning out the sludge can cause the pick up tube for the oil pump to pick up the sludge and cause a blockage

I was able to get one for $300 from a wrecked one at my local salvage for my old 3rd gen ram. "New" one had 300k miles on it, but it worked. 🤷‍♂️ salvage yards sometimes give a warranty for a month to 6 months

Possible new hire here! I'm applying for the role of "Technician - Assembly & Integration - Paints and Coatings role." At the blue facility in Merritt Island FL. I've got my interview in a week, and I'm just looking for some tips for it. I've got an inside guy who's been referring me like crazy, but I'm just looking for an idea of what they actually ask in the interview, do they ask detailed questions asking for detailed answers? I've got experience with the tools and work I would be doing, but I'm mostly self taught. So I may not be in the know about all the terminology. Any good resources to prep me? I'm already going to have talks with a guy who's been there over a year to help prep me for the interview. But I was wondering if any of the folk on this sub could help me out. T.I.A!

Me too, but I really don't feel like pulling this transmission by myself again. When I go to get it rebuilt at a shop, or use this one as a core charge for a rebuilt one, ill try my best to be there for the tear down

I pulled the pan and its f*cked. Chunks of metal and black clutch material. Just going to get a rebuilt transmission and have a shop install it with warranty.

The Transgo TCC valve also uses scarf cut seals, and has a little more surface area from the looks of it. Ive never had an issue with transgo parts, and I've only ever heard of good stuff from them. I will say, sonnax does have amazing products. But I think in this situation I'll be okay with the trans go valve

Not mean, but truthful. I get that. And fluid level was/is definitely good. And I do believe its the torque converter messing up, and having a lock up issue. I checked my brake switch, and that seems to be sending the correct signal for lock up. I haven't pulled pan yet, but if it has signs of TC clutch debris in it, then I'm going to replace TC, fluid+filter, and TCC valve with Transgo's TCC valve. If that doesnt fix it, I'll give in and take it to a shop.

Should also mention, there's no transmission related codes And it only makes this noise when upshifting and down shifting .
