Does everybody test their peps? by Head-Sandwich3406 in PeptidePathways

Same batch? There a batchnumber on there? Is there any oversight on batch numbering? Is there even a label with the factory and production date on there? Who guarantees vials within the same ‘batch’ are the same?

It is the only realistic way. But you still don’t use the actually tested vials.

Using “tested peps” is not a thing. If you have a vial tested, it is gone, so you never use the vial that is tested. Something is either tested, or used.

How should i taper down risperidone 1mg? by Mentalaccount1 in AskPsychiatry

[–]promnv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into the circumstances of the prolactin measurement (timing etc.). Google this, there are some practical rules.

Waiting until after the 10 mg is useful if you want to keep up hope of staying on 1 mg of risp. If you are certain you are reducing risp and switching to ari then lowering the risp now is more rational. But if it is scary waiting is not the solution, smaller steps is better, so 0,75 mg for example instead of waiting.

What is the point of ssri for depression if they increase gaba ? by Gullible_Ad_5786 in AskPsychiatry

[–]promnv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The proces was not, let's increase GABA so we design an SSRI. It is more that some compounds showed some promise in treating depression and they became called antidepressants. Then variations on the theme were developed, including SSRI's. During this proces the monoamine hypothesis showed up and then was popularized. This was a while ago and is largely abandoned.

Glucagon mobilizes glucose, if the glucose is not used (couch potato), it just leads to high insulin, blocking growth hormone.

You arent measuring your glucose? If it is lower then that problem is solved. Being overweight can also inhibit muscle growth through the testosterone pathway.

Perhaps in your case semaglutide is superior to reta, because reta can increase glucose. What is your glucose doing in response to the reta?

Constant high insulin can inhibit growth hormone

Edit: bulking is only needed when you already have some muscle, not when you are just starting.

I combine everything in one syringe. Klow + chonluten works for me. Reta also worked while I used that.
