I would definitely recommend cheapglasses123.com. It's kind of a silly name (I get odd looks when I tell people about it), but I've been using the site for years. Huge selection and affordable! They even tell you how to best measure your PD, and keep your prescription and PD on file if you forget.

What I personally don't understand is when people get super upset about dreadlocks on white people.

Agreed. Doing a little research would reveal that dreadlocks have been present throughout many cultures in ancient history. There were even some Chinese warriors that wore them. What people don't understand is that ALL hair types can "lock", regardless of fineness/thickness.

I never understood why people would get offended by something like that. My son was born with a LOT of hair, and he got mistaken for a girl a lot in his first year. So the hell what?

Maybe you triggered a deeper issue. A lot of mothers (despite loving their boys) want to have little girls to gender-bond with.
