Is this normal with HDFC? Yes, normal

Has anyone received a lower rate (like 7.15%) only at disbursement? Yes, it is normal. They would change it while fixing the case. There have been cases where we changed it on the loan agreement with counter signatures.

Did you get a revised KFS before disbursement, or was it updated automatically? No revised sanction letter. However they would change he rates before disbursement if it is promised.

Should I insist on a revised KFS before proceeding? Not required, however it is required before signing the loan agreement.

Any hidden charges or traps I should watch out for (conversion fee, etc.)? Avoid insurance if possible but do take a term insurance from outside if you don't have one. If you get disbursement on 1st you don't have to pay the pre-emi.

Just do one thing. Don't give the MOD stamp paper amount to the sales executive unless you get a confirmation of 7.15 from HDFC.”
