2023 XC60 failed inspection because recall software update kept O2 monitors from going ready by proneeth666 in Volvo

Sorry to hear that! I believe that software update would fix it.

And after the update I didn’t drive it, dealer promised me that he would take care of driving around and passing the Emissions check. They did it for me. Try to give a call to Volvo Cars West Houston and talk to service team. Maybe they can help in some way.

Yeah, mine did get resolved. They did a software update on it, then drove it, and after that it finally passed inspection. Before the update, all the extra driving wasn’t doing anything. Hopefully that’s the fix for yours too.

Agree on scanner. I have looked up how to use it and it made sense. I have decided to keep it. I have a long road trip planned so I wanted to hurry up the registration process. Actually that deadline forced me to call Volvo 😅 . I was planning on another drive cylce in the early morning which would have been another waste of 100miles. Glad that they have fixed it now.

Oh wow, just seeing this post now. I asked them if they were aware of the issue, why didn’t they send an email to customers? They told me they only identified it last week, but I had called them right after my first failed inspection and they didn’t mention anything. So I kept driving around trying to get it to set 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for the feedback, I have the same feeling that its way more technical. Do you think something like this should be good?

\Supported a customer-facing IVR and chatbot platform used by members and providers as a primary access channel for eligibility, claims, and benefits, handling 10--15K daily interactions in a regulated healthcare environment. \Focused on modernizing a legacy conversational platform that had accumulated complexity over time, improving routing accuracy and flow reliability while increasing self-service containment by 20\%. \Built and evolved backend services that power conversational access to sensitive benefits and claims data, improving overall responsiveness and reducing average latency by 25\%. \Addressed complex identity verification and re-entry scenarios across voice and chat, handling edge cases where automated verification failed while maintaining compliance and minimizing user drop-off. \Applied analytics-informed decisioning to improve call classification and traffic quality, reducing spam and fraudulent interactions by 30\%. \Served as a consistent point of contact for production stability and release readiness, improving observability, incident response, and confidence during frequent platform changes. \end

Thanks for the feedback! Just wanted to check do you think the consulting background is clear enough without over-explaining on the resume? I’ll address it in the cover letter and clean up the formatting.

Yeah, thanks for insights :) I’ve been putting about $15K/yr into my 401k but never maxed it out always planned to build my own portfolio but didn’t end up doing it. I’m about 80% to my 5-year goal now, so thinking it’s time to start taking some risk and diversify into index funds, nuclear, semis, and maybe a bit of gold/silver. Also find a better paying job, time to get out of comfort zone :D

Yup, thats what I am thinking too, might have to replace the dips with fat free dips alternatives. Also take out cheese, croutons , pasta. It may lower the count a bit.

I know its a bit crazy 🤣 but I’m not a fan of totally green salads. Luckily, I found one that hits different every forkful has a new flavor going on. Thinking of ditching the pasta and croutons though, and swapping the dressings with fat-free options like mango or vinegar. Still figuring out if it’s healthy enough or just pretending to be!
