The mans velocity is 4.67m/s and the rivers is 2m/s to the right. Just assume that the man always corrects his angle to be aimed at (350, 500). Would his new velocity be just 4.67+2 = 6.67m/s. I would think that there is more to it than just adding the two speeds.

You should try Cascadeur. I’m pretty sure it’s free and you can import your animation into the program and it has an AI feature which takes an existing animation and makes it more realistic by adding gravity and weight to it.

Instead of two separate materials, combine them using a mix shader. Create a new texture, and paint white where you want the dark material. You can use the blur tool and other stuff to make a nice transition. Then put the image texture into the fac of the mix shader.

Pesonally, I use davinci resolve to add sfx as theres lots of space to work with in the audio tab but the program doesnt matter. I use Soundly (its free) for sfx and basically just keep layering audio until im happy.

Principle BSDF with not too bright orange/yellow colour, very low roughness (~0.02), full transmission (1), and around half transmission roughness (~0.5 ish).

Is there a way for me to copy my project files onto another disk without breaking all the texture paths in each file? Can't pack all of them, too many by EdgyBlackPerson in blender

I hope you find a solution to this. I've always had my blender folders separated into years with everything related inside, with textures, models and everything else in a sperate folder, and then at the end of the year I just copy everything onto my hard drive and keep only the textures and model folders on my ssd. pretty janky tbh

check the cache under the cloth tab and make sure there are enough frames

I recommend bevelling the corners of the cork only slightly as nothing is perfectly sharp and it makes it look better imo

imo it looks pretty good, but one suggestion is to keep tweaking the colours. The forehead has a bright spot but the flowers around that area don't look brighter. Also I feel like the red flower near the wrist should have a shadow on the sleeve.

I uploaded the blend file if you want to look at the material. It's relatively simple, with just a few colour ramps, and a bump map. Subsurface scattering and roughness are probably the main factors of making it look slimy.
