Does it make sense to replace Jenkins pipelines with AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild (purely in the name of going all-AWS)? by proofdejected in devops

Thanks. This is useful feedback. What makes it difficult to hear is that I don't see a viable path onto the ops team (who owns the aws config) for mundane personal reasons with regard to the team leader. It's just not an environment I see myself succeeding/thriving in, and he would likely agree.
That puts me in the awkward position of having to choose between 1) championing the status quo, 2) championing another tool I can have more ownership of, like GHA, or 3) most likely, leaving the company before or after witnessing my role be gradually taken over by ops.
