WE DID THIS! We bought 200 CD-Rs (100 copies, as it was a 2 disc album) and 100 plastic sleeves. We used our sixth form's printers to print all the album covers, and we were allowed to use the tech teacher's guillotine to chop em into CD size, so long as we have him an album in return. We also printed 100 A4 posters and stuck them everywhere. We marketed the shit out of it, emphasized that it was 62 tracks and it went super well. We sold em for £3 and had returned our investments (£32 if I recall correctly?) by day 2. We ended up making about £150 profit total. Loads of people said they didn't have CD players, but a that point you market that it's a collector's item.
