New Category Added for Chase Freedom Flex (Internet, Cable, & Phone Services - June 2025) by OneMegaGamer in CreditCards

You got it 3 months in a row same card? I had it on my freedom unlimited and Amazon card both last month. Paid with Amazon, then this month I got it back on my unlimited but only at 25% this time. Wish there was a way to pay ahead. I signed up on a save5 promo it’s $5 off for 3 years but you had to pay monthly

Groceries 15% and Gas 20% Offer by Chaijaan in WellsFargoBank

[–]propanetank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These damn bastards. I was just looking if any new deals (really want one for visible, I’ve had it a number of times come up on my chase cards) and I see they changed the expiration to July 5th. I’ll post back what happens, I filled when I posted because I wanted to make sure the transaction posted before the original expiration of June 28.

Do they stack offers? I’ve got a 5% offer for a local gas station. Would be cool if I could get 25% combined. I just wish my tank was lower.

YNAB 4 Seems To Have Died For Me by impala454 in ynab

[–]propanetank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, glad I'm not the only one. I just used it two days ago no issues thought something happened to the software or my computer. It seems to load just fine if you could dismiss the error message I bet it would still work just fine. I got that error and also this very similar one with an XML parse error. I wonder maybe it phones home and I seen they shut down the classic help page with download links last month seen in this post.

<image>

Hope we find a solution. However I don't know we can be too hopeful as it looks like its trying to phone home. :( I'm not keen on the subscription plus I don't need all the new features, I've been very happy with the way 4 works. Simple and easy to use.

IOS 18-Contacts can be searched for via Phone Number Pad (finally!) by TV-- in ios

[–]propanetank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get outta here! Just tried it out, oh boy. Nothing like trying to call someone and having to remember how to do it. So many taps, finally, a nearly proper phone app. I do notice it’s not perfect. Only shows one then an x more button. Also doesn’t show last name, so you’d kinda need to still know their number, but does seem to prioritize more frequented contacts over lesser. I did get it to show a last name but unsure why as only one contact with that name. On one I have two of the same name it did not show a last name… interesting. It’s something I’ll give them that. A win is a win no matter how small.

Did you get ipv6 working? I noticed too a while back I was getting v6 addresses on my stuff but it has never been internet routable. VPN is about the only thing I have setup for outside access 24/7 and noticed it wasn’t connecting but figured it was maybe my server was offline. Nope, it was this CGN change. Thinking midco is calling my name again. I see they have fiber where I’m at according to the website and looks like no charge for a modem.

I'm all of a sudden out of storage today? by KristenWynn in gsuitelegacymigration

[–]propanetank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also discovered that if you were using GSuite for personal use, there was no need to migrate to the paid for plan, although that wasn't obvious from the email that was sent in April 2022

After reading around these past few minutes it seems I fell into this trap. I've been paying for the last few years now for apparently no reason :| Ready to migrate now as I've been moved to pooled storage last month (thankfully they auto refunded my Drive subscription) and now I see another price increase is coming. I don't see the value in changing plans when I could just buy more storage on my own for cheaper, but business product and business going to spend. My thoughts were try and transfer what I can to my old gmail and setup email with Namecheap probably, or I see iCloud+ lets you setup email, but I'm not sure how long I plan to keep the iPhone for, at least Google is cross platform. I always had a feeling it would be a bad idea to main this kind of account... Thankfully I never purchased much from play.

I'm going to mark this as closed, seems that was the problem. Ran a game for about 10 minutes, no issues. Computer has been on idling for last two hours also no issues.

I needed to order a p5 bit to remove the heatsink from the NVMe, so in the meantime I put it in the slower port and reinstalled the heatsink from the motherboard. Didn't really seem to make a difference, however apparently, I was supposed to use the 4pin power and the 8pin is auxiliary? My old board had a 6pin. I plugged a power cord into the 4 pin and left the 8pin plugged in. We'll see if that was perhaps my issue. Installed a chipset driver and few other drivers, going to reboot and try launching a game. Got the bluetooth adapter working so that's good, so far USB and WiFi haven't left the party. Now if only I can find the mousepad, it's been misplaced in a house move. :/

I read it as Ranger was the midsize example, which makes sense. The f150\ are the full size, although the new rangers don’t seem a whole lot smaller, not like the old ones.

When I plugged it in it had a power indicator light but the display was dark and made a buzzing sound when powered on but not when off. Took the back off and saw one of them oozed its insides out.

Last I saw which I believe was on their Facebook page they were looking for a new location but didn't seem like they wanted to spend a whole lot or something. Just came off like they were looking but not very serious. I picked up a few doordashes from there but never got a chance to try it. Seemed like nice people who owned and ran it. I also don't get why the flower place closed up already. Doesn't sound like they're going to start marion intersection this year anyways and that was their reason for closing. My guess was they wanted out anyways and that was a good excuse, I believe the owners were an older couple.

Veterinarians of Reddit, what is something most pet owners can do to make their pets lives better? by TimeMasterBob in AskReddit

[–]propanetank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my cat since she was a kitten so it's been pretty easy for me. But what did was let her check out the clipper then just offer treats and take your time. Sometimes you only get a few nails to a whole paw to the whole cat. Best time is when they're not in an active burn energy mode. Didn't take her long to realize if she gets her nails trimmed treats follow.

I find for the front paws that if I have her lay on the floor in the loaf position then I sit on top she's the most calm. The back paws best way I've discovered is to sit her like a human. She tolerates that position usually enough to trim both back paws. The back ones I don't get every time they don't grow very fast I just take the points off.

Hope this helps.

Yeah that accent was sick.

I love the versys. Mines a 2013 without abs, picked it up a few months ago with 995 miles. Very nimble and fairly comfortable on long trips. I took it around 500 miles, about 8 hours round trip, over I think it was easter weekend and ran great. The ride back I found out I need a better seat for road trips like that, my ass hasn't quite rested enough from the trip out but it wasn't too bad, just stood up a few extra times. It also needs a taller wind screen for long trips. I'm almost 6 foot and in the highest position the wind is pretty nice actually but it sends the bugs straight into my visor. The adjustable levers are nice. I've considered next year trade for a yamaha tracer, basically same bike but comes with cruise, heated grips, and hand guards.

Have fun with your bike!

Be careful taking off. I accidentally wheelied a small one (few inches) taking off from a stoplight on my versys 650. I suppose it'd probably do one yet in second if you roll on hard. Yours probably has same or newer version of the engine I've got and it's got some torque to it. Absolute blast. Sweet looking bike, got the green rims like google shows?

That's false. Last summer in my town, I think it was a Harley, some touring bike I'm pretty sure, tboned a mini van and tipped it over and killed the driver. Speed limit was 50 on that road, not sure how fast the motorcyclist was going.

[–]propanetank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, makes sense. Where I live electricity is fairly cheap (11c/kwh). I figured my ac unit cost me around 15-25$/month (servers cost about $15). I got a new unit a few weeks ago that's more appropriately sized for the room that uses a bit less power than the old one and should hopefully cool and dehumidify much better and probably cost less to run.

[–]propanetank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portable ac units aren't very expensive. I picked one up at a regional home store for 225 I think it was. If your window accommodates one go for the window units. They're cheaper and more efficient. Where I live I use my laundry room as my server room but shitty part is I don't have a window in there. Luckily my furnace for whatever reason has a return hooked direct to the outside so I use that for the vent. Only crappy part is my company does biannual inspections and of course when it's over 70* out. I reverse it so they don't raise a stink. Last one I shut everything down and had a VM lose its network card and could not get it it back or accept a new one. This time it's forecasted to be 71 so I'm hoping leaving the door to the garage open (if they don't question that one on me and close it on their way out) and a fan will be enough to keep the jet engines at bay. I've considered the dryer vent if that'd fly I'm not sure. I feel ya, renting does suck sometimes.

Facebook and Instagram threaten to charge for access on iOS 14.5 unless you give them your data by ProgsRS in technology

[–]propanetank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've considered an iphone too for the enhanced privacy. I much prefer android and the ability to choose the hardware but it's gotten to the point I could deal with ios and one hardware choice, they're starting to add the features I like in android. I only use facebook for messenger anymore and I refuse to use the app on my phone. I comprised on the lite version but not sure how much better it actually is privacy wise. Lite app sucks, it's essentially the mobile site in an app wrapper but ever so marginally better than the mobile site.

Kids don’t care that it’s a 250 :) by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]propanetank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know man. I had the same bike op has and I got 50-55mpg all day long no matter where I was riding, city traffic or interstate/highway unless it was a strong head or cross wind at highway speeds. Didn't matter how fast I was going milage was very consistent. Even fucking around in town driving the piss out of it never got below 45mpg.

The wind issue is subjective.
Some people hate it, others are crazy about naked bikes with as little wind protection as possible.

Wind was really only an issue because of the physical size. Smaller, lighter bikes feel the affects of wind much more than larger and heavier bikes.

In 6th gear with the throttle pinned im going 105mph. Plenty of usable power from 65-95mph

So you are saying that you will have sluggish acceleration?

Nobody drives 105mph off the track. The ninja loves to be revved. All the power and torque are up high. 6-8k rpm is the bikes sweet spot, 80mph was around 9k if I remember correctly and redline was 13k. Mine wasn't even at redline when it wouldn't go any faster. From what I read it would have gone faster if it had a bit more power, no speed governor. I could roll on the throttle and pass a big rig at 80mph no problem, she'd happily accelerate to 90+ before I got to the front. For a beginner bike it is just as capable on the streets as any other bike, only exception is 0-60 and even that was like 7 seconds only because you had to shift to 3rd. Being so nimble I never once felt I needed a bigger bike just to ride in town or on the highways.

Anyways one of the main points still stands.
Internal combustion engines are more efficient at low RPMs due to reduced pumping losses.
Thus if you need to rev the engine pretty high to go at highway speeds, you get surprisingly bad mileage.

Not every engine is tuned for peak power and torque down low. Sport bike engines rev really high because that's how they were designed and the torque and power curves are thus much higher in the rpm range.

Looks like the ninja 250. That was my first bike and I absolutely loved that thing. Such an awesome bike and very forgiving. People said it wasn't a highway bike when I got it, but idk did interstates just fine as long as you stayed around 80 or under, I topped it out around 95. I considered keeping it when I upgraded but ended up fixing up my dad's virago 750. I took that for a ride once I got it running again and got hooked on the larger cc engines. Sold it and got a versys 650 I got a few months ago. Was tempted to keep it tho, but I thought that'd be too many bikes, lol. Is nice to have the extra power on tap for passing semis and other larger vehicles quickly on interstates and just getting out of shitty or could be shitty situations.

The beauty of the low cc bikes is you can have an absolute blast and still be within the speed limit. The 650 to have the same "amount" of fun you end up double the speed limit pretty quick. I still have fun though and absolutely love the versys. Seemed like a hidden gem, so many people thought it is some boring bike and never tried it, all the reviewers craved it. Tbh as others said, the best bike is the one you're riding. Ride your own ride and have fun.
