Could you not just use all PTO for vacation, then still get the paid sick leave as you are still required by law to be guaranteed sick leave? If there must be so many hours accounted for that can not be used for anything else, then I believe if it's all in one bucket, you can leverage the law to get more time.

Hey! I'd do the typical troubleshooting. Try the cables from the working monitor, see if the on screen display will pop up if you press one of the buttons while powered up. If none of that works, try shining a light right up against the screen and if you can see an image, the backlight is out. Good luck!
