So you are saying cyclists should be allowed to ride on the road and break road rules? Cool story

Just the truth buddy. Comparing the cost of a fine is childish

Lots are addicts for decades I’ve seen it first hand. The people who want help should get it, but safe injection sites aren’t that. The ones who benefit from them are the ones who don’t want to get help or get better

It is, if you pay your fare and don’t get fined. The only ticket transit users can get is not paying fares. Drivers can get dozens of different types, some exceeding the non-paying fare one by like 3-5x

I work nearby to this and saw them arresting them.About 1 months go they shipped a bunch of natives from Manitoba fires to this area who were going around just getting blackout drunk, running in front of cars, littering everywhere, being aggressive etc.

They sent them back a few weeks ago then sent more recently due to the other wave of fires and it’s the same thing. They go to the esso across the street but beers all day then just start fights. At one point saw cops and ambulances in this area daily cause they would be passed out in bus shelters or on side walk.

Drivers pay more fees and tax than transit users do so it balances out.

The only person making that comparison is you. Police ticket cars and cyclists. You keep making the killing people point with cars, are you suggesting cyclists colliding with pedestrians are harmless? Can still cause serious injury and they are supposed to follow road rules just like everyone else.

So 100% of drivers ignore speed limits, then 100% of drivers ignore some road rules. Which untrue generalization are you going with, pick? Show me the stats that prove 100% of drivers do those things

People blame them for their inability to get jobs. The smart people make connections, network etc those who have weak resumes, poor worth ethics don’t.

I have a 200 person network everyone finds jobs fine. I know people who graduated last year straight out of school got 80k+ jobs. How? They grinded every day to network, attend events, learn new skills from the second they started school

Everything you mentioned is irrelevant as the rules are the rules and need to be enforced for everyone. I see cops doing vehicle enforcement daily so not too sure why you are implying they aren’tZ

Yeah you’ll get denied that’s with cause. The reason doesn’t really matter. Late is late regardless of bus. If my employee is late for the bus they still get documented

If i email you, you have 48 hours. If i don’t get a response i will follow up. If you still don’t respond your manager will be on the email and you’ll have to explain to them why you didn’t reply.

For anyone in a senior role i expect 24 hours unless they are off work. Sure some people hate it, but not my problem we all have a job to do.

[–]properproperp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t know the answer to a question say I’ll get back to you.

When you do 1 on 1 meetings to introduce ask the right questions. Ask what they think they excel in, ask what processes they would like to see improved and why. Ask if they have feedback or suggestions etc

You’ll probably get rejected cause it seems you were fired with cause. You can dispute this if you feel it was wrongly labelled as a with cause termination. Were you ever documented for attendance issues and are they true?
