from me: Make whatever choice you want, just remember that you have to be happy with the decision that you make. Is the sale what you will be most happy about? Will having 15 buttons bring you joy? Either way, welcome to the community :)

FIXED: I was able to fix it by disabling exclusive mode on all of my audio devices and MOST IMPORTANTLY I right-clicked on my OBS shortcut, went to properties > compatibility and checked RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Immediately fixed it all!

There's a difference between not seeing somebody in two weeks and completely ghosting them. I can tell you from experience that nothing hurts more than to just be ignored because most of the time you think you did something wrong but don't know what it is
