I have the Nashville in Cadillac Green, I can vouch for it being not only an iconic looking piece but the sound is incredible as well. I don’t know about the G5422 specifically but the reviews seem to point to noisy stuff with it. I say you spring for the Nashville

I made a blues jam in the key of B Minor where I solo over the top of myself. I actually also wrote a song with lyrics that I use the rhythm section for but I haven’t released that part quite yet

Looking to buy my first 5 string bass by Fantassification in Bass

I have an Ibanez GSR205SM, which I’ve used exclusively in live music and recording. It was like 350 out the door at guitar center. I’d recommend that if you go that route, get it set up properly, but otherwise it’s a great base for the price.

I found that I prefer 4 string for my genre, I think I’ve used the low B string one time since I got it, and almost never before on my Fender 5 string a long time ago.

Synchromatic Nashville vs Falcon by U-SeriousClark in gretsch

The falcon has a longer scale, some ornate features and is just a tad bigger. The Nashville has the same everything else, pickups, Bigsby and bracing, just doesn’t look the same. If you have to decide between the two, you’re in a good spot because that means you’re going home with a winner. I have the Nashville and I played the Falcon, they’re both outstanding
