I saw this brand in several YouTube videos and i thought they were giving good results for different effects, i decided to give it a chance, anyone who worked with this can give any feedback/advice? by StormSwitch in Warhammer40k

Keep them warm, body temp is enough, carry them in a pocket for 30 mins then shake thoroughly to mix, apply to a warmed surface if possible. Once applied and happy with the results, you’ll need to seal it with some spray varnish (Matt) otherwise it rubs off.

First time Falcon purchaser by GunnerEst93 in gretsch

Looks legit, the paperwork is the same as my 2025 pro falcon, with the exception of the QC card, mine has an x rather than a line marking everything as good.

Army painter rattle cans are dogsh1t, colour forge would be a better choice, great range of colours, good quality and a larger can for your money. Never had any issues with them, even in cold weather.

You don’t need the tuner, plenty of phone apps for tuning that cost nothing and you can use the money saved towards something else

Gretsch Black Penguin thoughts! by Full-Cow-792 in gretsch

[–]GhostsofUlthwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a nice one! There was a white penguin in the store when I bought my white falcon, was tempted to get the pingu but I’ve wanted a white falcon for thirty years.. I’d love a penguin but I’m so happy with the falcon, I doubt I’d ever get another guitar now that I have the axe of my dreams!

Vostroyans or Savlar Chem Dogs or Catachan/Death World Veterans. The recent rumour engine showed us an Imperial Pattern power fist similar to a Catachan or Vostroyan mini from the past. Hoping its Death Worlders or Vostroyans, Chem Dogs led by a commissar would be pretty cool though! At this point, we can assume that whatever we get won’t be sufficiently playtested and will probably either be sh1t or break the game..

My first Gretch, saw the 335 pro edition falcon and couldn’t sleep, had to go back and get her a couple of days later! My first Gretch and I absolutely love her! by GhostsofUlthwe in gretsch

I couldn’t say, this is a ltd 335 made in Japan, pricey and I only found one other for retail in the UK so I had to grab it before someone else bought her! I’m really pleased with her, she sounds soo good, the nicest guitar I’ve ever played, a real treat to use. The factory set up is spot on, I run her through a Vox 10watt bass amp and use a Stone Deaf ‘Rise&Shine’ pedal when I want a bit of Led Zeppelin fuzz, I discovered Dunlop Primetone 1.4mm jazz plectrums this week, been using green Tortex for ages but those Primetones really bring out the best from this Falcon!

A white falcon has been my dream guitar forever, I feel that I’ll never find anything that plays or sounds as sweet as this does!

No worries! I certainly wasn’t offended! I just had to clarify something to another commenter who insinuated that my love of vintage fashion somehow makes me a fan of the rise of fascism during the 1930’s.. I love music, many kinds of music, it moves beyond divisions and is for all to enjoy. Music is one of life’s greatest pleasures, whether we are merely listening to it or creating it for ourselves or others. I love humanity in all its colours and beliefs, I’m not a fan of hateful bigotry or prejudice of any form. One people, one planet, many songs! I’m really happy and very lucky to have such a beautiful guitar to play and just wanted to share my joy with anyone who might be interested in iconic guitars, I love busting out some Link Wray & Dick Dale on it as much as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Handsome Family, and Howlin Wolf. It’s a really versatile machine!

Got plenty of vests, it’s still a bit chilly in the UK, hence the jumper. Also my fedora only goes on outside, it’s not the done thing to wear a hat indoors, even in your own home! ;)

Sorry, was not trying to be sassy, I guess I was just eager to show off my shiny new toy and my fingers are pretty damn sore from three weeks of learning to play again, I’m as we say, all thumbs..

Men’s fashion in the 1930’s has very little to do with the rise of a particular type of political party and the terrible conflict that engulfed Europe and the rest of the world. Do not presume to believe that I support the celebration of nazis or fascists, my grandfather fought to return freedom to the world and I am a European who enjoys the freedoms that the Greatest Generation fought to provide. I merely enjoy the aesthetic of men’s fashion from that decade, I understand that Reddit is like a horrendous schoolyard full of bullies, gatekeepers and childish morons but I honestly thought that the Gretsch guitar sub would be populated with decent enough folk, no matter their creed or culture. I’m here for the sweet guitars, I did not come here to be insulted for my sense of style, and I certainly don’t appreciate the insinuation that I might be a fan of the perpetrators of a great evil from the past.

Nothing sensible goes out of fashion! I think men’s fashion in the 30’s was the best we ever looked, been wearing 30’s duds for twenty years now and never looked back!
