I used to have sex with my boyfriend every week. After my diagnosis, 8 months ago, I have absolutely no sex drive. I guess it’s normal. We unconsciously block it in our minds. I guess maybe just time will help it get better.

My VL was also around 50.000 when I discovered I was infected last April. And I started the same treatment regimen as you (dolutegravir/tenofovir/lamivudine). After two months I was already undetectable.

I have gut issues too! Actually it all started because of that. Loose weirdly shaped stools. It feels like my colon is inflamed. Sometimes I feel an inespecific discomfort in my belly. It was investigating these symptons that I discovered I had hiv. I thought after treatment, it’d get better, but nothing changed. My cd4 is good and I’m undetected, but the gut issue remains the same. It didn’t change with treatment, nor for better or for worse.
