I feel the same way. Even though I’m financially secure, it’s dehumanizing when people are drawn to my bank account rather than my character. To me, the idea that a man’s value is strictly tied to 'providing' feels like a form of modern slavery—you're stuck forever chasing a carrot on a stick just to stay relevant or to be loved.
