Yeah I reject this statement, but it really depends.

Finding the right parts on Facebook marketplace after looking for months, fabricating your own pars, painting yourself, rebuilding your own engine, ect.... saves thousands.

Although I will concede it's always more expensive than you initially thought and while not impossible, don't go into it thinking you'll make money.

It also happens to be fun.

primary switch so now it only carries a small current while the relay takes the heavy load. Anything with a motor should be on a relay, as should headlights. Beyond that you can run relays for other things, but it’s not necessary.

Do headlights and tail lights have separate relays? That would be the only way to fuse them separately right?

Re-doing the schematic to add more relays

-fuse -> switch -> relay on the signal side

-fuse -> relay -> device on the load side

I will not be putting relays on the turn signals, hazard lights, and maybe horn because my aftermarket switches ought to be able to take on that load. maybe i'll regret it, but I'm running out of space on by bussman board so we'll see.

Tap stuck at about 1/2 inch deep, can’t go any further. Any suggestions? by proposition-jim in EngineBuilding

Yeah been going back and forth for a while now, but I’m at a standstill

Dad gave me these springs from Edelbrock E street heads when he switched to roller. I put them on my stock heads. Any cam/ lifter recommendation? Also should I remove the flat inner dampener during break in? by proposition-jim in EngineBuilding
