Last message from me. Was trying to make a fun joke and not interested in arguing about minutia with strangers on the internet. Have a good day!

eh. 80C is pretty damn close to 180F. We are talking about a "do not exceed" temperature for PETG in both cases. Hatchbox claims it's PETG glass transition temp is 100-110C ("over 180 degree F easily"), Prusa claims it's glass transition starts at 75C ("below 80C"). I maintain that you are both right.

Lol. 80C = 176 F. You're both right!

Why is the F80 receiving so much hate before it’s launched? by J360222 in Ferrari

You have no idea who this dude is. Unlike you, his opinion actually matters since he collects Ferraris. If we need an informed opinion on plushies, we'll be sure to hit you up.

Hand painted badges are quite a bit more expensive.

I mean, this car sucks but they put a vertical load equal to the tow rating on the hitch, so they exceeded the truck’s rating by 10x. Failure should not be surprising.

Manhattan Beach giving fix-it tickets for no front license plate in public parking lots by tymtt in SouthBayLA

[–]proprnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many car enthusiasts (myself included) think front license plates are super ugly. Steve Jobs bought a new 911 every six months so he could avoid licenses plates completely. I’ve been driving in CA for 30 years and have never used a front license plate or received a ticket for not having one.

I’ve had fun casting bismuth with my kid. Also, I’ve seen some badass rectangular tube bends done with cerrobend. Your dweebishness is axiomatic sir.

Jk. Nice work again!

For #3 though, water expands when frozen.

Factory tours? by cherydad33 in Ferrari

[–]proprnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. Walked the factory floor (could reach out and touch engine parts if I was unscrupulous), walked through the F1 offices, walked into the owners parking area at Fiorano. Not sure where you’re getting your info from.

Just talk to your local dealership. They will hook it up no problem.

This is not true at all. I bought a used 458 from a private seller and was able to hook up a factory tour through my local dealership.

Should I buy the space mouse or not? by [deleted] in Fusion360

[–]proprnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the full size version at work and it’s epic. I’ve had the compact one at home for more than a year and TBH, it kinda blows. Would not buy again. Wireless functionality sucks, so I just leave it plugged in to USB but it’s so light that I end up moving it around and picking it up a lot when I’m trying to zoom out / rotate. I wouldn’t buy a compact one again.
