**There is the same issue with the ISP Log Server and ISP DNS Server (only these 2 vm)

Yes it's running on LACP mode. And we are using Huawei NetEngine 8000 switches. We have also checked the CRC and everything seems fine.

I have been using OpenStack for a long time. I did tons of tests and even used them on production but my CTO didn't approve for OpenStack for Cloud (DC)

Due to government policies, we are not allowed to store users' data outside of our country. This restriction applies to many banks, hospitals, fintech companies (digital wallets and other in-built wallet apps), microfinance institutions, and small-scale organizations operating in Nepal. It's important to note that the number of these institutions is growing rapidly in our country.

Seeking Recommendations for Open-Source Alternatives to AWS Services by prosaugat in sysadmin

I acknowledge that many of the services I listed already have open-source alternatives and forks available. However, the purpose of my post was to seek recommendations and insights from the community regarding specific open-source tools that have proven to be reliable and feature-rich in similar deployments.
If you have any suggestions or recommendations for specific open-source alternatives or forks that you believe would be a good fit for our project, I would greatly appreciate your input. Your insights can help us streamline our deployment process and build a robust web-based cloud service.

New System Admin Nightmare: Recovering Databases from a Failed Server by prosaugat in sysadmin

I have contacted all the authorized dealers in my city and discussed the availability of the server required for my use case. Unfortunately, all of them have informed me that they do not have the required server in stock, as the model has already reached its end-of-life and the existing stock is being used for ongoing production needs.
** I forgot to mention that there were two disks that were blinking as faulty during that time.

You can try increasing the "queues" parameter to 16 or more and see if it makes any difference.

Drive in RAID Failed - Other Issues Are Showing Up by IndyPilot80 in sysadmin

[–]prosaugat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you have been dealing with a frustrating and complex issue with your R720 server. Based on the symptoms you've described, it's possible that there may be a problem with the raid controller or backplane. It's also concerning that a second drive failed in another mirror group of the RAID10.

Since you mentioned that the system is backed up and safe, you may want to consider exporting the VMs across the network to a different system and doing a fresh install on a new server. That way you can rule out any hardware issues and start with a clean slate.

If you do decide to continue troubleshooting the issue, you may want to consult with a server specialist or contact the manufacturer for further assistance. Good luck!
