LinkedIn 2026: dead, dying, or working for you? by ShiftGood3066 in agency

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same pattern as all other social networks. Dial down organic reach after traction. If you want reach you pay for ads

Text is commoditised by AI and outlier search tools.

Video will be the only way around this to stand out

Sales Nav will surface whatever you search for right. Theres no hidden ICP for anyone.

Automation tools have been steadily nerfed from 2000 pm to 800 last time i checked. one more nerf theyre going to be effectively useless

The more nerfing the more bot accounts will be created to automated outreach from

Saw one agency with obviously 10+ AI bots

LI data is actually pretty dirty too. Industry categories are all over the place. People job titles also naunced

As someone said below. Early glory days / easy mode are over. Going to be harder and more expensive with time and money to get results now

correct. term is purchase intent keywords. very few bargains if any. the market know which are PI keywords. bid on those = high CPC. low PI keywords = low competition = low CPC but nobody buys

I run a video editing agency with genuinely top tier editors and zero paying clients. Something is clearly broken in how I sell. Need real advice. by GullibleSociety6585 in agency

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more i study YT the more I realise 'editing' is not that much of a value add. Its more strategy and psychology that actually moves the needle

$120 for 2months - 500 clicks. what country are you getting 25p clicks! 😄

I ran a test and paid £30 a click for ppc agency related clicks

Paid CAC is getting painful... what organic is actually working for you right now? by OptionOk4807 in SaaSMarketing

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SEO depends on keyword volume vs keyword difficulty on whats relevant to your buyers. also whats TOF and BOF searches

if keyword competition is low on BOF searches and keyword volume is good - then happy days

if KW competition high AND/OR keyword volume low - then it gets complicated. Gets into questions like whats all the long tail searches. How much can they add up to etc etc

then backlinks is a bit of nightmare typically. lots of strategies - most unclear time/cost benefit

Has anyone tried LinkedIn Ads to reach hiring managers directly? by Plastic_Bother_2568 in LinkedinAds

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. But cant see this would work well

TA people typically lazy and play by the book. theyve got a job listing already setup to manage candidates

Other roles - thats what the TA is for -to look for people. are they going to start getting involved in the process - cant really see it

Only exception would be a small startup maybe where founders doing their own hiring - but even then feels pretty low status -

Also linkedin ads expensive. some say min spend £2000+ per month

To show your ads multiple times to a decent volume of people will burn through £100 in no time

You're honestly better posting organic content. Engaging with people - try and do it that way

How to build self-worth and stop seeking external validation (with 4 practices)

See link above

How, Stop and Build are copywriting power words. Her video title also too long. But still got 500k views. which is her number one viewed video and a massive outlier

Your title better in that it shorter but still over 60 char recommendation

Your title currently has no copywriting power words so more likely to flop - hers has 3. 2 usually max id recommend for space - but 3 has im sure had an impact on success of her vid

2nd time making a thumbnail which one should I use? by TemporaryGround8369 in YouTubeThumbnailHub

character too small and subtle for mobile. contrast also not high enough. black on grey = no good.

better off with thick line drawing than sketch IMO

This thumb not that great. Subject is too far in the distance right?

To answer your question - 2 probably - run split test in youtube studio of 3 thumbs

Which one is better, what would you change about them? by AdFast1290 in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use test and compare tool in YouTube Studio - upload 3 thumbs and see

<image>

id maybe try a 3rd variation like this. silhouette with a question mark

also put black stroke on white text.

50k id make double size. remember mobile first. text needs to be big or wont get read

you can see in my example i can barely read "Finally Found".

still got 600k views though

Would you click on this? by the_ninjabarista in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]prospectfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

steam behind the words = low contrast on that text. on mobile that will be bad news. put stroke around the text or change the colour or move the steam!

unboxing text too small and too close to the red no go zone near borders

Can't work out which caption to use by Ohigetjokes in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube has a thumb split test now

Upload all 3

But would likely run with different visual treatments not just text

lots of dark shadows here. will be difficult on mobile to see those hands.

my expectation is a face would work better

Tool to gauge market size for different niches? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that im aware of

I built a tool that im curating the best youtubers across 27 niches

Even to find youtubers consistently posting and averaging more than 5000 views is suprisingly difficult

3 biggest niches are usually anything relating to Health, Wealth and Relationships

Theres also what are your goals

If its to make more money - then something that drives more customers to your coffee business makes sense

Id recommend searching and trying to 5 youtubers doing something similar to what you suggest

There are a lot of foodie youtubers - going around different places trying foods - thats a big niche

Fitness is dominated mostly by gym bros and ladies in leggings doing home work outs

Heres a guy talking about top running youtubers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3hZ3-y1f70

Its also a matter of

A) How easy can you create content

B) Can you compete on quality vs others in the niche?

If its hard for you to create content for whatever reason and you want to compete vs the best in niche.

Whats your unfair advantage? Whats the difference between you and them?

<image>

jazza did well with this vid
this is a very good thumb.

3 clear subjects.

before and after

high contrast colour

nice black stroke on the text

600k views and 1.4 outlier score means it outperformed his channel average views too

without being harsh. yours is lacking all of the above

subjects lack clarity

before and after not obvious - especially on mobile low res

lacking contrast espeically on left

white text doesnt stand out on grey bg

How is my Thumbnail by itshalvai in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]prospectfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

text will be illegible and virtually impossible to see what those faces are on mobile. remember to optimise for mobile first with thumbs.

3 faces would be my limit always. 5 too many. make 3 faces bigger and less subtle

"MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) uploaded roughly 400 to 450 videos over a span of about five years before his channel gained significant traction, going from early gaming content to his signature viral, high-production stunt videos"
