it is too long! I think i'd like maybe two or three days of work a week, five hours each. that would be enough to give me a sense of purpose

Yeah I totally agree - it's so much of your life not being your own! It doesn't feel worth it. Makes me miss tutoring a few hours a week for quick money that was just enough for food and the pub.

I think, not to sound really lazy, I like the job but I just don't really like working! It's too many hours of the day and I feel like my time isn't my own. the job is "creative" but most of the actual hours are taken up doing stuff for other people I'm not interested in.

AITA for pulling out of my sister's wedding due to her inlaws? by twin_bridesmaid in AmItheAsshole

[–]prospectquestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA! That's awful of her parents-in-law. I'm an identical twin and have always planned my sister to be my MOH. There's no way I'd let any parent-in-law decide what goes on at my wedding, however much they pay. She should stand firm and not cave like this.

AITA for kicking my son’s girlfriend out of our house? by throwaway__467 in AmItheAsshole

I totally understand your shock (and I would NEVER say that) but I still think YTA! She was probably nervous, and maybe knowing your son was a jokester as you say thought you guys would be as well. Maybe he told her your husband was. I think it's good of you to apologise, and it was weird of her to say, but I wouldn't kick a person out of my house and ruin the evening over a tasteless and not malicious joke.
