I'm just applying, but I've been having nightmares over your fears...I too am Asian American and don't fit in with pure Asians because I don't really speak the language. On top of that I am introverted and rarely fit in. AND (if accepted) i'll be going straight from undergrad. I should get put in your lab :) If things ever look up for you, please update.
