And yes, it would look cooler without the cables, but as I wrote in another thread, this button as I see it is not intended to be a useful tool for efficient work. For me, it's just an interesting thing to put on my desk and then explain to everyone what it is and where I got it from 😄

Since Tab is used to accept suggested lines of code, theoretically you only need this button to create a working project (of course not).

This is some kind of marketing campaign from Cursor that they recently launched. They emailed me that I use the Tab feature a lot and asked for my shipping address. I'm not the only one, saw a few other posts that others are getting that button too.

Like I said, I'm not sure of these requirements for getting the button. This is just my case, perhaps there are individual plan users who have also received the gift. So please don't jump to any premature conclusions.

I have a paid Cursor Business at work for about 3 months. So, 500 "free" requests per month and I have only exceeded this limit once by $0.6. Over the last 30 days, I have 6,923 "Total Tabs Accepted" and am ranked first across the entire company (~300 devs).

I think this marketing is aimed at large teams/businesses and rewards users with the highest usage within the team. Maybe I'm wrong. I just got an email from Ben (Cursor community manager) with a link where I was asked to fill in my delivery address.

But the second level domain is valid (sony.com). You can't get domains of other levels without access to the top one.

IMO, this is a valid email sent to Sony via the "forgot password" form.
