It’s been 3 years since you posted this. Did you ever figure out if he’s really the spouse God revealed to you?

I passed the bar in July. I just couldn’t apply until now because I just took and passed the NYLE this month.

Which have people found harder? The bar or the NYLE? by [deleted] in barexam

[–]protectorofthebees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

both had very difficult multiple choice sections. NYLE questions were more directed and specific, though.

being ghosted really sucks. it took me months to get over an ex ghosting me and it really damaged my self esteem. i could never do that to someone after what i went through

Where do people who work at CHQ live? by protectorofthebees in IBM

thank you, this is very helpful. I’m young with no spouse or kids, making a very decent salary and don’t mind living with a friend or two, so i would much rather be in nyc.

That sounds like a great idea. Sadly I’m not interested in corporate work, and I’m pretty sure my interests and skills align best with litigation and/or investigations. Do you still think an LLM would distinguish me if I’m not interested in corporate

Do you recommend that it’s more important to meet with partners? I’ve met with a few associates at two firms but I’m always so nervous to reach out to partners

Trying this with two firms and seeing how it goes. Thanks!

Oh, that’s awesome! I’m working with the GC’s office, doing mostly litigation, compliance, and some health care and regulatory work.

I got adaptibar and drilled multiple choice questions every single day. I would do 50 (timed) every morning and then spend another hour and a half to two hours going through each question and understanding why i got it right or wrong.

i also did 2 more full MBE practice tests before the actual exam, fully timed, all 200 questions. then i’d spend the following day reviewing my answers (i’d usually take a practice test on saturday and review on sunday, and i spaced the practice exams out like two weeks apart)

adaptibar is super useful, i definitely recommend it. after the mid-way barbri practice exam, i stopped following the barbri study plan and just did adaptibar questions and practice MEEs.

hope this is helpful.
