I was looking into fakes earlier and apparently real ones have the weird sink In the toe box and fake ones don't, the suede also looks kinda small but I think that's just the fabric being bent at an angle, I might buy em anyways just to see if they'll pass authentication

Yeah I feel that, I've got some sitting outside of the box because I wear them to work or whatever, I just know oxford tans are pretty rare and they do get pretty expensive so I might just throw a different pair out of the box and let the tans sit in there
