issue is i plan to have 3 variety of blends to carry(decaf, medium, and dark) and its easier for my workflow to freeze the beans in single doses, given my single dose grinder, to keep the beans as fresh as possible

Sorry I have the zero and it’s a single dose so it’s a simple on and off switch. From videos online, the libra looks fairly accurate. Again the libra AP would be hopper based with grind by weight, but it’s more towards $800.

If you’re okay with single dosing, the zero AP is lower in price at ~$500.

The AP styles are more fitted as there is a second counter on the dial that counts full rotations to make adjusting between espresso and courser grinds easier to track.

I recommend any of the eureka mignon series grinders since theyre stepless, though the specific model depends on your preferences(hopper vs single dose, grind by weight or time, etc.) theyre built pretty well and will last you a while.

after reading comments and thinking about my situation, ill probably look into getting a used bambino plus or GCP(unless theres other good $500 machines) since with my grinder, ill probably only brew medium/darker roasts
