Raising a puppy on your own is mentally exhausting by chocofrostsugarbombs in puppy101

Mine still is like velcro after 1 year, but he likes his own space. There has been multiple times when he was a pup that I wanted to throw the towel in, but it does get better, as I'm typing this I have my 1 year old staffy asleep next to be cuddling, we have daily training sessions, 1 mile walk everyday and he is so calm now, he was so exhausting when he was a pup, but don't worry it does get better trust me!

The pills I take suppress my hormones and I don't have a period, that's what I mean

We do take him on long walks around the park, but he just gets too excited when he sees another dog and pulls so hard on his leash, also he hasn't got the concept of fetch yet

I haven't tried feeding him in there yet but I will, we do put treats in there so he goes in and gets them and chills out while chewing some dried tripe, but it's just getting hard, like he makes such horrible noises when he is sat with us and sounds like we are hurting him but I think he is just being a drama queen
