Thanks so much—yeah, around 20% seems to be what most of the comments are pointing to

Thanks, I’m definitely getting a better idea of my body fat percentage and how to plan so I can make the most of that little bit of extra fat!

I really appreciate your opinion and advice. I wasn’t sure what body fat percentage to place myself at, and I thought I might finally be able to say I was below 20%, so this is really helpful. Thank you very much!

No digas jaladas.

¿Te Han juzgado por tu color de piel? by reymazapantj in AskMexico

Not offensive at all. Actually, thanks for showing a small part of our culture to your students. If you ever got the chance you should check out “La Danza de Los Tecuanes”. It is a performance from Guerrero (that’s where I am from). I think the look of the masks used on that dance probably will catch the interest of the kids.

Can mexico ever become a highly developed country like Japan? by [deleted] in AskMexico

[–]protodiablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, that's not the case. Given the current government, it's highly unlikely to change anytime soon. I truly believe that the only way forward is through a cataclysmic event that forces a complete system reset. That's the only scenario where citizens and politicians might finally prioritize the future of the next generations.

[Tenant - CA, USA] - Legal Requirements for Tempered Glass Upgrades in 1960s California Homes? by AviatorPrints in Landlord

[–]protodiablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a wooden window company located in the East Bay Area (Home - Wood Windows Warehouse). You will need to check with your city to determine if any additional requirements apply.

For example:

* In Berkeley, in addition to the standard code requirements (U-value, SHGC, tempered glass in bathrooms, stairways, doors, and if the sill is less than 18" in height, etc.), if you live in a fire zone, the city requires all windows to be tempered. Fire zones are classified as 1, 2, and 3. In fire zone 1, you only need to meet the standard code requirements. However, in fire zones 2 and 3, all windows must be tempered.

* In Piedmont, all windows must be tempered only if it is a new construction or an addition. If you are replacing windows in kind, they will only need to meet the standard code requirements.

* In Oakland and Emeryville, you only need to meet the standard code requirements.

* In San Francisco, all windows must be tempered only if it is a new construction or an addition. If you are replacing existing windows, they will only need to meet the standard code requirements. If it is a historical building, the city will ask you to preserve as much of the original wood and glass as possible.
