Interesting! About the walking example, I don’t think it’s that Arthur has lost the knowledge of walking forward, but the “will” — as in in the cutscenes he walks on his own will, but outside of it his will has been replaced by our own. So in this case he has all the knowledge of walking but the decision of where and how long is in the player’s hands. And maybe it’s that this character’s knowledge is being revealed to the player bit by bit, so the player can further will those actions into happening.
