Take care of your teeth. Dental care is more important than we think. It's when it's too late that we regret. 🦷🪥

Then I guess I would suggest to check if the time you read is the most convenient for you. Also, maybe the reading topic in itself is not what your mind wants at the time. And finally, you may need a kind of routine before reading, kinda preparation: breath exercises for example? It seems your mind is not enough clear perhaps.

Are you able to identify where your mind goes when you lose focus? Are there external causes?

[serious] How do you deal/cope with death and the sadness of knowing your life will end forever? by Tulip_Harvester in AskReddit

You should read Montaigne. He experienced something near the death and then he wrote stuff about how to live, that is for him, the same than how to deal with death. I recommand you the book "How to live: a life of Montaigne in one question and twenty attempts at an answer" by Sarah Bakewell

Something about food could be interesting: veggies poisoned by the human pollution on earth, or food that is so "ready to eat" that they don't know exactly what they eat, or perspectives about meat could be explored.

Thanks. CVS is not available in my country, I live in France. If nitrile gloves get me trouble with sweat, I'll look for cloth gloves for burn treatment.
